Accessing the site is slow.

Sonyericsson.com uses advanced technology that copies most of the site to local servers all over the world. This should mean that the site runs quickly even if the internet is busy. Because of this, it's very unlikely that a slow site is due to problems with the Sony Ericsson servers (although it is possible). Try to identify the problem as follows:

Check other websites. Are they running slowly, too? If other sites are running slowly, the problem is with your PC or connection and not with sonyericsson.com.

The problem could be with your Internet Service Provider. Check your ISP's news page to see whether they're having problems or carrying out maintenance.

When you're using the internet, software often gets installed on your PC that takes up its processor and network resources, causing it to run more slowly. You should run checks for viruses and spyware software to make sure your PC is clear of these.

Your network connection could be faulty. Disconnect then reconnect your modem to create a new network connection. This should clear the problem. If you have a broadband modem, you may need to switch it off and then back on to reset it.

If you're connecting from a work location, contact your system administrator. There may be problems with your network, or many people could be accessing the internet at the same time.

Are you accessing any other sites at the same time? If you're accessing other sites, or running any applications that use the network, they may be taking up most of your network connection bandwidth. Try quitting these to see if the speed improves. Downloading large email attachments or using instant messaging could be using up your network bandwidth.

Do you share your internet connection? If so, someone else could be using the internet, which will slow down your connection.
