Highlights
How it works
Every Bluetooth™ device has a unique name, enabling devices to recognise each other once they have been paired, and avoiding interference with other devices. Bluetooth™ enables communication across distances of up to 10 metres, and at speeds of up to 720 kb/s per channel.
Let's stay together
Once paired, your devices remember each other’s unique names and connect seamlessly every time, just as we recognise our friends.
Essential in the car
Pair your handsfree unit with your phone for safe, convenient communication while driving. Phone and unit connect instantly, even with your phone in your bag, letting you keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road while you make, take and reject calls.
Bluetooth™ headset
Lose those ugly wires! A Bluetooth™ headset gives outstanding audio quality for both you and the person you’re talking to, and complements your outfit with stylish design. Manage calls easily with buttons and voice control, up to 10 metres from your phone.
The versatile technology
In the spirit of co-operation, Sony Ericsson Bluetooth™ products are compatible with other brands such as Sony, TDK, Apple and Palm. Connect easily to a PC or PDA to browse the Web and sync files, and print wirelessly from a Bluetooth™-enabled printer.
Why is it called Bluetooth™?
The Viking king Harald Bluetooth united Norway and Denmark. He was renowned as a great communicator, skilled at bringing people together to talk to each other – but he would never have guessed that a thousand years later a powerful technology would be named after him!
