It can be used as an extra drive on your computer in the same way as an ordinary USB memory stick.

You can easily move ripped music tracks to your phone, using the USB Adapter.

1. Plug in the USB Adapter with the Memory Stick inserted.
2. Start the application.
3. In the Media Manager application, select your Memory Stick in the selector where you usually select your phone. The Memory stick will appear there, the same way as a phone.
4. Insert the CD from which you wish to rip tracks.
5. Use the Media Manager software to mark the tracks on the CD and move them to the Memory Stick. For details on transferring music, please refer to the Media Manager Help. Click on the question mark in the top right corner in the application window.
6. Disconnect the USB Adapter, by using the Safely Remove Hardwareoption in the system tray.
7. Insert the Memory Stick into your Phone.

To use the USB stick to transfer files from your phone to your computer, you must first save the files on a Memory Card.

1. Go to "Menu" File Manager > All files
2. Browse your folders by scrolling up and down.
3. Select "Open" to view the folder content.
4. Select "More" Manage file > Move > Memory Stickto move the files to your Memory stick.
5. Insert the Memory Stick card in the M2 USB Adapter card slot.
6. Plug it into the computer USB port.
7. On the computer: OpenMy Computerand your phone will be visible as a removable disk.
8. Use drag and drop or copy and paste to move any files to a folder on your computer.

All Memory Stick Micros (M2) are compatible with this accessory, and all computers/laptops with USB 2.0 Hi-speed ports

You can plug in the USB Adapter to any USB port to upload any files. This is an easy way to share music and pictures from your phone or computer. Please note that copyright-protected music cannot be shared freely.
