Before you can use your Bluetooth™ Car Speakerphone with your phone, it must be paired once with the phone. Follow the instructions in your phone User guide for turning on the Bluetooth function in the phone.
To pair the speakerphone with your phone:
Make sure the speakerphone is turned off.
Turn on the Bluetooth function and Bluetooth visibility in your phone (this makes the phone visible to other Bluetooth devices).
Place the phone within 20 cm (8 inches) of the speakerphone.
Press and hold down the on/off key for five seconds.
The handsfree automatically enters pairing mode. The display light flashes red and green.
If your phone supports auto pairing, press "Yes" when you're asked to add the speakerphone to the phone. If not, see your phone User guide on how to pair the Bluetooth device. If required, the speakerphone passcode is 0000.
The speakerphone beeps and the display light turns green when successfully paired.
Note: When in pairing mode, the headset switches off if you don't pair it with the phone within 10 minutes.
After a successful pairing, the headset will automatically connect to the phone as soon as it is turned on and within range. The speakerphone can only be paired with one phone at a time.
Simultaneously press and hold down the volume keys "+" and "-" on your speakerphone for three seconds. The display light flashes red and green.
Simultaneously press and hold down the on/off/answer key and the "+" volume key until it is turned off. The speakerphone is now reset to how it was when purchased.
Note: When you reset the speakerphone, all connection settings in the speakerphone will be erased and the connection with your phone will be lost. To use the speakerphone, you will have to pair it again.
After you have paired the Bluetooth™ Car Speakerphone with the phone, it automatically connects to the phone as soon as it is turned on and within range. If the phone is out of range for more than 10 minutes, the Bluetooth car speakerphone is automatically switched off.
Yes, it is. Before you use voice dialling, you must activate the voice dialling function on the phone and record voice commands.
Note: Voice commands can only be used with the speakerphone if your phone supports voice dialling. For more information, please see your phone User guide.
If your phone is moved too far away from the Bluetooth™ Car Speakerphone, the devices will automatically disconnect. When returning to the Bluetooth car speakerphone, press the call key to reconnect the devices.
When you've paired the Bluetooth™ Car Speakerphone with your phone, you can make calls provided the speakerphone is turned on and within 10 metres (33 feet) of the phone, with no solid objects in between.
To make a call:
Use the phone keys, and dial the number in the same way as you would normally do. The call is automatically activated in the speakerphone.
To end the call, briefly press the call handling key on your speakerphone or use your phone.
Note: You can redial the last number by double-pressing the call handling key on your speakerphone. Voice commands can only be used with the speakerphone if your phone supports voice dialling. For more information, please see your phone User guide. Make sure voice commands are enabled and recorded in your phone before you try to use them.
