The Radio search mode in your phone can be set to Manual search or Preset (see your phone User Guide for more information). This affects the way you set the frequency.
Manual search:
Press and hold the Next/Previous button to search for a new radio station.
Press the Next/Previous button to increase/reduce the frequency by 1 MHz.
Preset:
Press and hold the Next/Previous button to search for a new radio station.
Press the Next/Previous button to skip to the next/previous preset radio station.
Lift the support arc up and press it downwards to adjust it in an upright position. It is recommended that the support arc is always used while the phone is in the cradle.
The information is transferred between the remote control and the cradle by infrared. To guarantee a good connection, keep the distance less than two metres and keep the infrared ports facing each other.

The infrared port on the cradle is located at the front, just below the Sony Ericsson logo. On the remote control, the infrared port is located at the front short end, above the + button.

When a call comes in the music will be muted.
Answer the call by pressing the Answer button (green) on the remote control. The speakerphone is then automatically switched on.
End the call by pressing the End button (red) on the remote control.
When the call is finished the music will be switched on again.
Note: You can also answer the phone as usual, by pressing the answer key on the phone. If the phone is disconnected from the cradle during a call, the speakerphone will be switched off.
