The volume can only be adjusted from the phone. Follow the instructions in the phone User guide.

To insert the batteries:

1. Open the battery lid by inserting a small flat object in the notch and lift the lid up.
2. Remove the old batteries and insert new ones.
3. Replace the battery lid.

Troubleshooting:

• Ensure that the phone is not connected with another Bluetooth™ device.
• When in pairing mode, the speaker enters idle mode if you do not pair it with the phone within 5 minutes. Try to pair the speaker again.
• Ensure that the speaker is charged and within range (10m, 33 feet).
• Repeat the pairing procedure.

To pair the speaker with a phone:

1. Place the phone within 20 cm (8 inches) from the speaker. Make sure the speaker is turned off.
2. Press and hold down the on/off key until the speaker enters pairing mode and the indicator light flashes green and blue.
3. In the phone: Search for and add the speaker as a new Bluetooth™ device. The speaker passcode is 0000.
4. A flashing blue light indicates successful pairing. A constant blue light indicates that the speaker is connected to the phone.

Note: The speaker enters idle mode if you do not pair it with a phone within 5 minutes.

This speaker is powered with two AA 1.5 V batteries. When the battery level is low, the indicator light flashes red. You need to replace the old AA 1.5 V batteries with new ones.

Note: Do not use different types of batteries together. Do not mix new batteries with old ones.

Select to play a track in the phone. The speaker automatically reconnects to the last paired phone and the music will start to play through the speaker. A constant blue light indicates that the speaker is connected to a phone.

When the speaker is paired with the phone, you can listen to music as long as the speaker is within 10 metres (33 feet) of the phone. Objects, walls and a greater distance than five metres (16.5 feet) can affect the sound.

To listen to music:

1. Pair the phone with the speaker.
2. Select to play a track in the phone. The music is now played through the speaker.

Note: The music can only be controlled from the phone.

The music will automatically stop playing when someone is calling your phone. You can answer your phone as usual. When you end the call, the music will start to play again.

10 different phones can be paired with the speaker simultaneously. If an eleventh phone is paired with the speaker, it replaces the phone that has been inactive for the longest time.
