
The headset can only be paired with one phone at a time. If another phone is paired the previous pairing information will be lost.

Before you can use the Bluetooth™ accessory with your phone it has to be paired once with the phone. After a successful pairing, the accessory will automatically connect to the phone as soon as it is turned on and within range.

To transfer an ongoing call to the handsfree:

Voice commands can only be used with the handsfree if your phone supports voice dialing. For more information, please see your phone User guide.
To make a call using voice commands:

When you have paired the handsfree with your phone, you can receive calls as long as the handsfree is turned on. Solid objects, walls and a greater distance than 5 meters (16.5 feet) can affect the sound quality negatively. For best performance, wear the handsfree and the phone on the same side of your body.

When the battery needs charging, the indicator light on the handsfree flashes red and you hear a beep. If you do not charge the handsfree, it automatically turns off. You can charge the handsfree with the supplied charger or with a Sony Ericsson phone charger. It takes approximately 2 hours to charge the handsfree.
To check the battery status:
Briefly press the on/off key on your handsfree. If the indicator light flashes:
Note: Before you use the handsfree for the first time you need to charge it for approximately 8 hours to reach the maximum capacity of the battery.
