Advanced functions for handling contacts in your phonebook

There are many ways to make your communication easier using your phonebook. You can group phone numbers and email addresses and send messages to a group of people. You can also add your own contact information in an electronic business card that you can send to others.

You can set your phone to automatically ask if you want to save the last caller as a new contact, and you can choose whether you want your contacts to be automatically saved on your SIM card or in your phone memory.

To create an electronic business card:

  1. From standby, select "Menu" > Contacts.
  2. Press the navigation key upwards to New contact, then select "Options".
  3. Select My business card.
  4. Select "Add" to enter a name. When done, select "Accept".
  5. Press the navigation key downwards to New number.
  6. Select "Add" to enter a new number. When done, select "Accept".
  7. Choose the appropriate number option and press "Select".
  8. If you want to add another number, press the navigation key downwards to New number and repeat steps 6 and 7.
  9. Switch between the tabs if you want to add more information to the card, e.g. an email address or a personal ringtone, etc.
  10. When you've entered all the information, select "Save".
