You can use a picture as a startup screen, as wallpaper in standby or as a screen saver. You can use one of the pictures already in your phone at purchase, one that you've taken with your phone camera, or one that you've transferred to your phone from another phone or from a PC. You can also set pictures as background images for your contacts. The picture will then be visible on the screen when you get an incoming call from the contact.

To change the background image:
From standby, select "Menu" > Settings > Display (tab).
Select Wallpaper > Picture.
Select Camera pictures or Pictures.
Highlight a picture, and press "Select".
You may be prompted to choose between Standard or Maximized format for your picture.
