Back up user data to the SIM card

You can backup some information (contacts and text messages) to your SIM card. Depending on your SIM card, you may be able to backup 500-2500 contacts. The number of text messages you'll be able to store also depends on your SIM card.

To back up your contacts:
  1. From standby, select 'Menu' > Contacts.
  2. Select 'More' > Add to > SIM.
  3. Your contact is now saved to SIM.
To save a text message to your SIM:
  1. From standby, select 'Menu' > Messaging > Inbox.
  2. Highlight a message, and select 'More'.
  3. Select Move to > SIM.
