Back up user data to the SIM card

You can backup some information (contacts and text messages) to your SIM card. Depending on your SIM card, you may be able to backup 500-2500 contacts. The number of text messages you'll be able to store also depends on your SIM card.

To back up your contacts:
  1. From standby, select 'Menu' > Contacts > More.
  2. Select Options > Advanced.
  3. Select Copy to SIM > Copy all.
  4. Your phone will display a message telling you that your SIM contacts will be replaced by your phone contacts. Select 'Yes'.
To save a text message to your SIM:
  1. From standby, select 'Menu' > Messaging > Inbox.
  2. Highlight a message, and select 'More' > Save message.
  3. Save your message in Saved messages or Templates, and press 'Select'.
You will be notified of your memory consumption.
