In most phones, you can store a lot of information about your contacts. Apart from the usual information such as name, phone numbers and email addresses, you can also store home addresses, birthdays and other information you find useful. When you add a birthday to a contact, you'll have the option to store the birthday in your calendar, and also to get a reminder when the birthday is coming up.

To add a birthday to a contact:

1. Highlight a contact, and select Options > Edit contact.
2. Press the navigation key to the right and select the tab with Birthday.
3. Highlight Birthday, and select Add.
4. Enter the birthday, and select OK.
5. If you want to add the birthday to your calendar, select Yes and select when you want to be reminded.
6. Select Done.
7. Select Save to save the information in Contacts.
