Your phone has various phone modes. In Normal mode your phone will have full functionality, whereas in Flight mode the network and Bluetooth™ transceivers are switched off. Flight mode enables you to use phone functions that do not require transceivers and therefore do not disturb electronic devices. This is useful on a flight or in a hospital. Depending on your phone model, you may be prompted to choose between Flight mode and Normal mode/Phone On when you switch your phone on.
