False winning notification

Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications is aware that a series of SMS have been sent to members of the general public promoting an alleged Sony Ericsson competition, announcing that the receiver of the SMS has been awarded a sum of money. Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications confirms that such SMS are fraudulent and untrue, and the company wishes to take this opportunity to apologise to members of the general public for causing any inconvenience or confusion.
