Depending on your phone model, you can use a SIM card, a memory card or a PC synchronisation program to transfer your contacts between the two phones. When you use a SIM card to transfer your contacts, only names and phone numbers are transferred to the new phone. If you have stored other information about your contacts (e.g. a birthday or a picture), the preferred way is to use a memory card or to use a PC synchronisation program.

Actions in the old phone: If
your old phone is a Sony Ericsson phone, follow the
instructions below. Otherwise, please consult the old
phone's user guide.
Go to Main Menu
> Contacts >
Options > Advanced
> Copy to SIM. Choose Copy
all, then press
"Select".
When the copying is
done, turn off your phone and move the SIM card to your
new phone.
Actions in the new
phone:
Turn on the phone.
Go
to Main Menu > Contacts. Scroll to
New contact and press "Options".
Go to Advanced > Copy from
SIM. Choose Copy all, then press
"Select".
