How do I transfer my contacts to a new phone?

Depending on your phone model, you can use a SIM card, a memory card or a PC synchronisation program to transfer your contacts between the two phones. When you use a SIM card to transfer your contacts, only names and phone numbers are transferred to the new phone. If you have stored other information about your contacts (e.g. a birthday or a picture), the preferred way is to use a memory card or to use a PC synchronisation program.

Copy your contacts from your old phone to your SIM card. If you need help with this, please consult the old phone's user guide.

When copying is complete, turn off your phone and move the SIM card to your new phone.

Turn on the phoneActions in the new phone:

Turn on the phone.
From standby, select "Menu" > Contacts > Options >.
Then select More > Advanced > Copy from SIM.
Select Copy all, then press "Select".

The contacts are now moved to your new phone.
