Depending on your phone model, you can use a SIM card, a memory card or a PC synchronisation program to transfer your contacts between the two phones. When you use a SIM card to transfer your contacts, only names and phone numbers are transferred to the new phone. If you have stored other information about your contacts (e.g. a birthday or a picture), the preferred way is to use a memory card or to use a PC synchronisation program.

Actions in the old phone:

1. Copy your contacts from your old phone to your SIM card. If you need help with this, please consult the old phone's user guide.
2. When copying is complete, turn off your phone and move the SIM card to your new phone.
3. Turn on the phone.
4. Select 'Menu' > Contacts > 'Options'.
5. Select More > Advanced > Copy from SIM.
6. Choose Copy all, then press 'Select'.

To transfer your contacts via the SIM card:

1. Copy your contacts from your old phone to your SIM card. If you need help with this, please consult the old phone's user guide.
2. When copying is complete, turn off your phone and move the SIM card to your new phone.
3. Turn on the phone.
4. From standby, select "Menu" > Address Book > "Options".
5. Select More > Advanced > Copy from SIM.
6. Choose Copy all, then press "Select".
7. The contacts are now moved to your new phone.
