The number of characters in a text message is limited. If your phone supports long messages, you'll be able to write messages that are longer than the limit, but you'll be charged for two or more text messages by your operator. When you're approaching the limit, the number of remaining characters will be shown in the upper right corner. When you exceed the limit, "SMS 2" will be displayed, indicating that you will be charged for two messages.
