Connect the charger to the phone. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery. However, you can interrupt charging at any time without damaging the battery. The battery is fully charged when the battery icon stops flashing. Remove the charger by tilting the plug upwards.

If the battery is totally discharged, the phone will not show any indication of charging. However, the phone starts to charge immediately when you put it into the charger. It can take up to 30 minutes before the phone indicates that it is really charging (the battery indicator in the display lights up). To see the battery indicator after 30 minutes, you may need to press a key because the phone can go into "sleep mode" during charging.

Note: Always use a Sony Ericsson charger when charging your phone. Other brands may cause errors in the phone. The warranty does not cover product failures caused by the use of other brands.
