A memory card adds extra storage space to your phone. When the memory card is inserted, you can choose whether to store data in the phone memory or on the memory card. There are different types and different sizes of memory cards. Please see your phone's User Guide to find out which memory card is compatible with your phone.

The position of the memory card slot depends on your phone model. The slot is usually marked with the memory card symbol and with the type of memory card (e.g., M2™ or Memory Stick Micro™).
