My Friends - instant messaging

Instant messaging, also called My Friends, allows you to connect and log in to the instant messaging server to communicate online with instant messages (IM). Please contact your service provider to provide standard settings information such as:

  • Server settings for the IM client into your phone.
  • Your account information (username, password).
  • Internet profile for your phone.

To get started with instant messaging:

  1. Select Menu > Messaging > IM > Configure.
  2. Enter your Instant messenger username and password.
  3. Select your server and the Internet account you are using.
  4. Select Save > Log in.
