Phone memory requirements for a software update

The size of the file needed for a software update is about 1 – 5 MB. When you update the software in your phone, the data for the software update will be saved in the phone memory, and cannot be saved on a memory card. If you need more available memory in the phone to perform the software update, you either need to move user data to a memory card, PC or your SIM card, or delete data from the phone memory.
