You can easily reach contacts in your phonebook that start with a specific letter.

To speed search in contact menu:

Press and hold the key corresponding to the letter your contact starts with. Press the same key again to reach contacts starting with the next letter on that key, or press another key to write the second letter in the name of the contact.
