Synchronise your phone contacts, calendar, tasks, bookmarks and notes and get a safe backup online. You can also match your Facebook™ friends with your phone contacts and confirm the match or connect them individually.

You can edit, add and delete your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes in your computer with your keyboard from both Sony Ericsson Sync and the Facebook™ application Sony Ericsson Contacts. The next time you sync your phone, you automatically get an update of all content.

To sync via Internet, you need to have Internet settings installed in your phone. For assistance, contact your operator.

You can easily use additional phones with the same account, which is very convenient if you buy a new phone or lose your old one. Just sync the phone with your Sony Ericsson Sync account or the Facebook™ application Sony Ericsson Contacts and you automatically import all your contacts to your new phone.

Note: The only cost for using Sony Ericsson Sync is your operator's fee for transferring the data to and from your phone.

To begin synchronising your phone content and information with an online service:

From sonyericsson.com:

1. On the computer: Register or log in to your sonyericsson.com/community account.
2. Click Set up sync and choose your phone model.
3. Enter your phone number, including country number.
4. A PIN code is shown.
5. A configuration SMS is sent to your phone.
6. Install settings.
7. Enter PIN code.
8. Start synchronise from your phone.

From your Facebook™ account:
1. On the computer: Log in to your Facebook™ account.
2. Click Applications > Sony Ericsson Contacts in the bottom left of the screen and choose your phone model.
3. Enter your phone number including country number.
4. A PIN code is shown.
5. A configuration SMS is sent to your phone.
6. Install settings.
7. Enter PIN code.
8. Start synchronise from your phone.

Select Menu > Organiser > Synchronisation > Sony Ericsson.
