In your phone there's a built-in phonebook where you can store numbers for your friends and colleagues. Adding the information in Contacts makes it easily accessible, and you don't have to type in the digits when calling or sending messages.

In most phones you can also add other details, such as addresses and birthdays, or add a specific ringtone or picture for a specific contact. You can reach your stored contacts from the Contacts menu, or from standby by pressing and holding the first letter in the name of the contact.

1. Go to "Menu" > Contacts > New contact and press "Add".
2. Press "Add", enter Name and press "OK".
3. Highlight New number. Press "Add", enter or look up number, press "OK".
4. Choose the appropriate number option and press "Select".
5. If you want to add another number for this contact, highlight New number, press "Add" and repeat steps 3 and 4.
6. Switch between the tabs if you want to add more information to the contact, e.g. a picture or personal ringtone, etc.
7. When you have entered all the information, press "Save".
