To change the camera photo size/resolution in my phone

You can set the camera to take photos in different sizes and resolutions, depending on your phone model. The photo size affects how many photos you can save in the phone memory or on the memory card. The larger the photos and the higher their resolution, the fewer you can save.

Note: The picture quality setting also affects the maximum number of photos you can store.

To set the camera photo size/resolution:
  1. Activate the camera by pressing the camera key.
  2. If your phone is not in camera mode, select the camera icon using the navigation key.
  3. Press the tool symbol, scroll to Picture size using the navigation key and press "Select".
  4. Highlight a camera photo size: 2 MP, 1 MP or VGA.
  5. Press the ticked box, then press the return symbol.
