Depending on your phone model, you can use a SIM card, a memory card or a PC synchronisation program to transfer your contacts between the two phones. When you use a SIM card to transfer your contacts, only names and phone numbers are transferred to the new phone. If you have stored other information about your contacts (e.g. a birthday or a picture), the preferred way is to use a memory card or to use a PC synchronisation program.

To transfer your contacts via the memory card:

1. Copy your contacts from your old phone to your memory card. If you need help with this, please consult the old phone user guide.
2. When the copying is done, move the memory card to your new phone.
3. Select Menu > Contacts.
4. If the phone asks you to copy info from SIM card, select No.
5. Highlight New contact, and select Options > Advanced.
6. Select Restore from m.card to copy your contacts to your new phone.

To transfer your contacts via the SIM card:

1. Copy your contacts from your old phone to your SIM card. If you need help with this, please consult the old phone user guide.
2. When the copying is done, move the SIM card to your new phone.
3. Select Menu > Contacts.
4. If the phone asks you to copy info from the SIM card, skip steps 5–6.
5. Otherwise, highlight New contact, and select Options > Advanced.
6. Select Copy from SIM > Copy all.
7. Select Yes to copy your contacts to your new phone.
