SMS (Short Message Service) is a method of creating, sending, storing and receiving text messages via mobile phones. You can easily change the writing language or add an item in an SMS message. You can copy and paste text when you're writing your message. If you often use the same phrases and pictures in a message, you can save the message as a template. You can also set the phone to notify you when you receive a new message.

To create and send an SMS:

1. From standby, select "Menu" > Messaging > Write new.
2. Select Text message and use the keys to enter your message.
3. You can change writing language, or add an item or a symbol, via "Options".
4. When done, select "Continue".
5. Enter a phone number or choose a contact from the phonebook.
6. Select "Send" to send the message.
