To set the FM radio as an alarm

You can set the FM radio as an alarm if you connect a handsfree or portable speakers to your phone, because the wire works as an antenna for the radio. When the radio alarm goes off, the most recently used radio frequency will be played through your phone loudspeaker. When your phone is in standby mode, an alarm clock icon is displayed when the alarm is set.

Note: You can't use Bluetooth™ devices as antenna, because they have no wire.
