To take a picture with the camera in my phone

You can use the camera in your phone to take pictures. The pictures can then be saved in your phone and be used to personalise your contacts or as background pictures. You can also send pictures to a friend’s phone or a computer. Avoiding excessive backlight and taking pictures in a well-lit environment maximises photo quality. It is sometimes possible to adjust photos afterwards (depending on your phone model).

Note: To save battery power, the camera may be deactivated after a while if not used.

To take a picture:
  1. Activate the camera by pressing the camera key. If your phone has a camera lens cover, you can activate the camera by opening the camera lens cover.
  2. If your phone is not in camera mode, select the camera icon using the navigation key.
  3. Change the settings if necessary.
  4. Press the camera key to take the picture.
