To transfer photos from my phone to a computer with a USB cable

You can transfer photos from a phone to a computer via a USB cable. In the computer, the phone will be visible as a removable drive to which you can drag and drop or cut/copy and paste your photos. You can use the predefined folder structure in the phone, or add new folders if you wish.

  1. Connect the USB cable to the computer and the phone.
  2. In the phone: When you attach the USB cable to the phone, a USB connection window appears, Select File transfer.
  3. On the computer: Open My Computer and your phone will be visible as a removable disk.
  4. Double-click the removable disk.
  5. Here you will find specific folders (depending on your phone model) where your pictures are stored.
  6. Drag and drop or copy and paste the picture from this folder to a folder on your computer.
  7. Disconnect the phone from the USB cable.
The picture is now transferred to your computer.
