To transfer photos from my phone to a computer with a USB cable

You can transfer photos from a phone to a computer via a USB cable. In the computer, the phone will be visible as a removable drive to which you can drag and drop or cut/copy and paste your photos. You can use the predefined folder structure in the phone, or add new folders if you wish.

To transfer files from your phone to a computer:

  1. Connect the USB cable to the computer and the phone.

  2. On the phone: Select Media transfer.

  3. On the computer: Open My Computer. Your phone will be visible as a removable disk.

  4. Double-click the removable disk to find the specific folders where your files are stored.

  5. Drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste the files to the computer.

  6. Disconnect the phone from the USB cable.
