How do I rip music tracks using the Media Manager?

Install the Media Manager software from the PC Suite CD (if included in the kit) or download and install it from Sony Ericsson's support Web site. Follow the installation instructions that appear.

To rip music tracks:

  1. Connect your phone to a computer with a Sony Ericsson USB cable.
  2. In the phone: Select Mass storage. Your phone's functions will be inactivated in this mode, but it will restart when you disconnect your phone from the USB cable.
  3. On the computer: Insert the CD from which you wish to rip tracks, and open the Sony Ericsson Media Manager.
  4. Go to the Audio CD Mode (tab), and drag and drop music tracks from the CD to your phone.
  5. When the transfer is finished, close the Media Manager application and disconnect the USB cable.
