Update Service cannot access the Internet

Error message 'Unable to connect to the network, please check your network connection and try again.':

  • Check that you are connected to the Internet.
  • Check that your virus protection program and firewall allow Update Service.exe to access the Internet. Update Service needs access to the Internet to download the latest phone software.
