Use your favourite track as your ringtone

You can use your favourite track as a ringtone provided it's in the right format. All tracks that your Music/Walkman® player will recognise can also be used as ringtones. Most phones support common sound formats such as MP3, M4A, Midi and WAV. For detailed information on which formats your music player supports, please check your phone's User Guide.

Note: If you delete the track or remove the memory card on which the track is stored, the ringtone will automatically be set to the default ringtone.

To change the ringtone:

  1. Select Menu > Settings > Sound & alerts (tab).
  2. Select Ringtone, and select the desired ringtone.
