What is ActiveSync?

With the software application ActiveSync you can synchronise information to and from your Windows mobile, other Windows devices and Exchange servers. ActiveSync enables the transfer of Outlook information, Office documents, music, videos, pictures and applications to and from your device. Update your calendar, email and contact information wirelessly when you are away from your PC.

Before you start you must install ActiveSync on your PC. Install the software from the CD (if included in the phone kit). Follow the installation instructions that appear.

Note: ActiveSync cannot be used with Windows Vista. To synchronise using Windows Vista you use Windows Mobile Device Center, which is part of Windows Vista.
