BlackBerry® Connect™

BlackBerry® Connect™ automatically sends email received by your mail server to your phone. BlackBerry® Connect™ is a wireless connectivity solution that allows mobile professionals to stay connected to the information and communications they need while on the go. Push-based BlackBerry® Connect™ services automatically and conveniently deliver email and other data to and from the phone.

There are two versions of BlackBerry® service available; BlackBerry® Enterprise Server (for corporate users) and BlackBerry® Internet Service (for Web mail users).

To check if BlackBerry® Connect™ software is already installed on your phone:

  1. Select Main Menu > Tools.
  2. Check if the BlackBerry® Connect™ application is available in the list. If not, BlackBerry® is not installed on your phone.

To install BlackBerry® Connect™:

  1. Go to Sony Ericsson Software Downloads.
  2. Select BlackBerry® Connect™ Desktop Setup. Here you will find a .exe-file and a BlackBerry® Connect™ User guide.
  3. Depending on whether you choose to install BlackBerry® Enterprise or Blackberry® Internet, and choose to use a USB or a wireless installation, the installation procedure is different. Please read the BlackBerry® Connect™ User guide for a detailed description.
