Make sure your phone connectors aren't dirty. If they are, you can clean them with a soft brush, cloth or q-tip moistened with any type of unflavoured, colourless alcohol.
Please note that the connector must be totally dry before you connect a USB cable or any other device to your phone.
Make sure your Internet connection is working.
Update Service requires access to the Internet, so some virus protection programs and firewalls may block the Update Service connection. If this happens, make sure you allow UpdateService.exe to access the Internet.
