Location of saved contacts

You can choose whether you want to save your contacts in your phone memory or on your SIM card. By default, most phones save contacts in the phone memory, but you can change this from the Contacts menu. You can copy contacts from your SIM card to your phone memory or vice versa. This is very useful when you want to transfer your contacts to a new phone.

To change where to save your contacts:

  1. From standby, select 'Menu' > Contacts.
  2. Highlight New contact, and select 'Options'.
  3. Select Advanced > Default contacts.
  4. Select where you want to save your contacts.
Note: In your phonebook, only the default contacts are visible.
