K610i support
Calling
Learn how to make and manage calls on your K610i.
Make a phone call
When your phone is switched on and within network range, you can make a call by entering a phone number via the keypad. You can also select a contact to call from the phonebook. All your recent calls are listed in the call list.
Save a number to your Phonebook
After making or receiving a call, you have the option to save the number in your phonebook so you can easily use it again. You can also enter numbers into your phonebook without making a call, and edit the contact information.
Check your voicemail messages
If your subscription includes an answering service, you'll receive notification when someone has left you a message; you can listen to the message and choose how to reply.
Personalise your ringtone
Select a ringtone from those preinstalled on your phone. Download your current favourite track to your phone and set it as your ringtone.
Make a video call
If both you and a friend have phones and subscriptions that support video call, you can see each other as you talk. You must be connected to a 3G network to make a video call.
Manage incoming calls
You can divert calls to another number. Reject calls that you don't want to answer. Follow up missed calls via the call list.
In-call features
Press "More" during a call to access other features, such as adding another participant to a call. Call waiting lets you put a call on hold. You can access the main menu during a call.
Hands-free calling
For hands-free calling, use a headset or the speakerphone. You can manually adjust the mute and volume. When using a Bluetooth™ headset, you can make, receive and reject calls via the headset. If you're listening to music, it will automatically mute when you answer a call. Learn how to pair your phone with another Bluetooth device.
More dialling features
Speed dialling allows you to dial your frequently used contacts by pressing a single number and the call key. With Voice control, you don't even have to press a key.
