Play music on your phone
Most phones have a media or music player that you can use to listen to music. You can upload music files in various formats to your phone. Learn how to configure the music player's settings. Use Shake control to move easily from track to track.
Create a playlist
You can create different playlists with your favourite tracks. If you delete a playlist, the music files are not deleted from the phone's memory. Or, use SensMe™ to select songs that suit your mood.
Download music from the Internet
Music tracks can be downloaded to your phone via the Internet. The PlayNow™ service, available from certain network operators, allows you to listen to a music track before you purchase and download it to your phone. A part of PlayNow™ is PlayNow™Uncut. Personalise your ringtone

Transfer music from a PC to your phone
Walkman® phones come with a CD-ROM with the PC application Media Manager. Disc2Phone is replaced by the Media Manager for most phones. Media Manager allows you to transfer music from your CDs. FM radio
Phones with a built-in FM radio can tune in to and even store a number of radio stations. If a call comes in, you can pick up immediately; the radio is automatically switched off. You can also use the radio as an alarm.

TrackID™ is a feature that helps you find information about a song you hear on the built-in FM radio or an external source such as a car or home sound system.
Podcasts, Audio books and more
As well as listening to music, you can use your phone to listen to Audio books. Podcasts can be downloaded directly to your phone. Add accessories to enhance your listening experience.
