There are a number of solutions you can try if your phone will not turn on, or turns itself off. If the phone freezes you may need to restart it. Try these solutions if the battery fails to charge or its capacity is lower than you expect. For animated instructions, please try the Troubleshooting wizard. If the phone lock is turned on, you must enter the four-digit code to be able to turn on the phone.

These are all problems that might be solved by updating the software on your phone. You can update software quickly and easily with the Update Service; the application checks for new software for your phone and automatically installs it. To keep your phone performing at its best, it's a good idea to update its software regularly. You might not always notice what an update has done, but it can prevent future problems. Sometimes conflicts between software applications can lead to problems.

Ensure that you have the correct settings in your phone. Faults elsewhere in the network can disrupt access - try connecting again later to see if the problem persists.
