It says “Insert SIM” in the display

Remove the SIM card and clean it

If the display says "Insert SIM" it means that the phone has no contact with your subscription card (SIM card) in the phone. We recommend that you remove the battery and the SIM card, and clean the connectors on the SIM card and the phone with a soft brush, cloth or q-tip moistened with any type of unflavoured colourless alcohol.
At the same time check whether the card is damaged or worn in any way; if so its connector may not align with the phone connector. Please contact your operator / carrier to obtain a new SIM card.
