Allows you to search for music on your computer or audio CDs, convert your existing audio tracks to MP3 format, and copy tracks directly to a Sony Ericsson phone or to the phone's Sony Memory Stick.

  • Microsoft® Windows® XP Home SP2 or higher, or XP Professional SP or Vista
  • 900 MHz processor
  • 100 MB hard-disk space for program installation
  • 128 MB RAM
  • Windows-compatible sound card
  • CD-ROM drive (for optional CD extraction feature)
  • USB reader/writer for use with Sony Memory Stick or USB cable for connecting a phone to a computer
  • Sony Memory Stick
  • Internet connection (for Gracenote CD identification and software activation)
  • NET Framework 2.0.1 and .NET framework 1.1 SP1 (installed if needed)
  • Windows Media Player 9 or higher (for full functionality)

Installation instructions
  • Download the application to a local drive on your computer and note the location of the download.
  • Double-click the .exe file.
  • Follow the onscreen instructions. In the installation process you will see the End-User License Agreement window. Please read carefully and click Agree to continue the installation.
  • After installation, start Disc2Phone. The first time you start Disc2Phone, you will be presented with Disc2Phone activation and Gracenote CDDB registration screens. Both are required for full use of Disc2Phone. An internet connection is required for activation and registration.


Note: Registration may not be possible in some specialized network configurations (e.g. highly secure corporate networks).
