Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync® lets you connect specific Sony Ericsson phones to your company’s Exchange server so that you can keep your email, calendar and contact information up-to-date on your phone, wherever you are.

The Organiser software version can be located in the phone's main menu as follows: click the main menu icon, select Main menu at the top of the screen, then click on System information and scroll down to see the organiser version.

Installation instructions
Note:
Before installing and setting up Exchange Active Sync you have to set up an Internet account in your phone. Exchange Active Sync can be used only if your network operator provides support for that service.
  1. Download the Exchange Active Sync sis-file below and save it on a local drive on your computer.
  2. Via USB, Bluetooth or IR, transfer the downloaded .sis file to your phone and save it on the Memory Stick.
  3. Tap the file and select “Install”.
  4. When the installation is ready you will be asked: “Do you want to start?” Select Exchange Active Sync.
  5. Select Yes to start Exchange Active Sync and close the Installation complete dialog.
  6. To set up an Active Sync account, follow the instructions in your Extended User Guide.
