Sony Ericsson announced the Sony Ericsson GreenHeart™ portfolio, which introduces green innovations that reduce the overall environmental impact of the phone without compromising on style or features.
The first pioneer product is the C901 GreenHeart™ significantly reducing its impact on the environment: the ‘green core’ of our GreenHeart™ phones is the result of a long standing commitment to eliminate the use of unwanted substances from the product design and manufacturing process; an in-phone manual replacing the standard paper version; recycled plastics, an energy efficient display and waterborne paint mean that the overall CO2 emissions of the phone are decreased by 15%.
